With yearly sellouts, we continue to expand our Labyrinth Challenge installation with Leonardslee, working to develop and expand their in-demand event.
How Did We Help Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens?
The Labyrinth Challenge is our giant multi-section inflatable obstacle course designed to attract and entertain audiences of all ages.
The partnership began with a clear goal in mind: Leonardslee were looking for a way to get more first-time visitors to their park over the summer months. After experiencing the thrill of The Labyrinth Challenge at another event, the idea of having The Labyrinth Challenge at Leonardslee sparked there and then!
They wanted to hit two nails on the head – deliver an unforgettable event for their existing members while also attracting a new audience to the park.
With our first event being in 2022, Leonardslee have rebooked and sold out every year since. We constantly evolve the event to never bring the same course layout twice, enticing visitors to come back each year!
How Did the Event Go?
Each year that we’ve been at Leonardslee, the event has gone plain-sailing. We’ve supplied different configurations of The Labyrinth Challenge for a fresh experience for returning visitors, with a mini course complementing the main event so that adventurers under 1.2m can join in on the fun.
We took charge of the activities, and Leonardslee took catering into their own hands, organising food and drink options that provided additional satisfaction to their guests by contributing to a wonderful event.
Post-Event Debrief– Why it Worked
From the start, Leonardslee had one clear goal: bring in a new audience to their park, maximising first-time visits. To do this, The Labyrinth Challenge acted as the perfect enticement, giving visitors a marvellously enjoyable day.
Leonardslee took advantage of this in their marketing to include free entry into their park and gardens alongside their ticket to The Labyrinth Challenge event. By advertising this to not only existing members but also nearby towns, their initial event sold out – with an incredible 70% of visitors coming to Leonardslee for the first time! This, in turn, ramped up the number of annual memberships sold, demonstrating clear value of driving new visitors to their park.
